Build the embedded foundation that reads sensors, drives actuators and controls hardware reliably. Work on real-time control, communication and instrumentation relevant to both satellite equipment and robotics.

Responsibilities

Implement drivers and control logic on microcontrollers or embedded Linux.
Build interfaces for communication, timing, health monitoring and logging.
Measure latency, noise and communication failures to diagnose unstable behavior.
Test on hardware or HIL setups and verify fault detection and safe-state behavior.

Basic qualifications

Embedded development in C or C++, including hardware bring-up and debugging.
Ability to read schematics and datasheets and verify behavior with instruments.
Experience implementing suitable interfaces such as UART, I²C, SPI or CAN.

Preferred experience

RTOS, embedded Linux, motor control or real-time systems.
Automated testing, HIL, telemetry or fault detection and recovery.

Example focus for the first month

Bring up one sensor-and-actuator system and verify its control loop, logging and fault behavior on hardware. The actual assignment, scope and evaluation criteria are agreed before joining.

Duration The first month is a trial. Any continuation is discussed and agreed by both sides.
Commitment Near-full-time. Exact working days and hours are agreed before starting.
Terms Compensation, engagement type and expenses are discussed during the process and agreed before joining.
